For a long time, many authors, writers, and novelists have excelled in their writings and literary works by deviating from the ordinary, imagining what the future will be, or perhaps imagining what cannot happen in the future! Like science fiction movies today, these inventions that we will discuss were a kind of fantasy until they became reality!
Inventions came to light thanks to science fiction novels and movies!
1- electric shock device

In 1947, Dr. Claude Beck managed to save a teenage patient by subjecting him to a 60Hz heartbeat with a homemade defibrillator made of two silver paddles connected to an electrical outlet.
By the 1950s, electric shock machines were saving thousands of patients in hospitals all over the world.
2- space stations

The Soviet Union's Salyut program launched a 65-foot-high cylinder - the primary space station - in 1971. The crew at the time took pictures of the Earth and experimented with gamma rays and a secret military radiometer.
3- machine learning
science fiction movies |
Perhaps at that time the novel was just imaginary events that would not have come true no matter what happened, but the contemplator of technical progress today realizes that machines control large parts of our lives, from our homes to organizing our work schedules and times, deciding what to eat and much more.
Perhaps its control over the human race is only a matter of time!
4- Laboratory growth of meat

The events of the novel were not far from the truth that the world awaited in the future. Today, many laboratories have succeeded in growing meat in the laboratory, hoping that the new technology will solve part of the problems of starvation and the shortage of food resources in the world.
After the first experiment to grow beef from lab-grown cow stem cells cost nearly $280,000 in 2013, today it costs only $13!
Long-term heat storage
In her story “Sultana’s Dream” in 1905, Ruqayya Sakhawat Hussain’s dream was to preserve the warm summer sun to keep her small town warm and warm during the cold winter.
The author's dream became a reality in 2007, in Alberta, Canada. The high temperatures were stored in underground tubes so that homes were heated throughout the cold season with this technology.
5- electric stun guns

These pistols have appeared in science fiction films, and in the work of Tom Swift and his electric rifle that blasts objects with a strong current of stored electricity.
This idea sounded great to NASA engineer Jack Cover, who filed a patent for the first electric stun gun in 1911.
